Digging Dolls: 1 lb Natural Blue Opal Tumbled Stones from Peru

These tumbled Blue Opal stones are made from the highest quality natural Blue Opal which is from an old stock that came from the blue opal mine in Peru that closed around 10 years ago. On average there are between 15-18 pieces per pound and the sizing averages around 0.75Â to 1.5" per stone. Please note: These are just averages and NOT a guarantee. You may receive more or less pieces or have stones bigger or smaller than stated as these are only averages. Our Dolls meet with the mine owners multiple times per year and scrutinize every shipment of stones to ensure they meet the high standards required to be part of the Digging Dolls brand, and in our last trip we found this old stock which we purchased immediately since it is from a closed mine and no longer being produced! These stones can be used for many different purposes including wire wrapping, jewelry making, wedding or home decor, crafts, art projects, reiki, fountains, vases and so much more!

As earth mined stones it is possible the stones may include possible minor flaws, imperfections, variance in colors, clarity, shapes, sizes, or patterns depending on how they formed naturally in the ground. Blue opal does naturally have a larger number of acceptable imperfections than most other stone types, so you can expect some of these natural characteristics in your stones and this is not considered a flaw or defect.
